Arrival in Nairobi - A Little Pleasure before the hard work begins

After a long journey, Jonathan and Dean (Jonathan's guide) finally arrived in Nairobi late on Friday evening, ready to begin an exciting FlipFlash Learning trip.

Before diving into a packed schedule of school visits, teacher training and community projects, Saturday was all about adjusting to life in Kenya. There's no better way to ease into the Kenyan way of life than by meeting some of its most famous residents!

A visit to the world-famous Giraffe Centre gave Jonathan and Dean the chance to get up close with the magnificent Rothschild's giraffes. Hand-feeding these gentle giants is always an unforgettable experience, and it served as a wonderful reminder of just how special Kenya is.
