Become a Flipflash tutor

Flipflash is a screen-free way to practise and remember what's been taught. Pupils work with tiles on a silicone mat, through three phases, and you can see straight away what they know and what they don't. As a Flipflash tutor, you'll be trained by Jonathan Lewis to use it in your own sessions.

What you'll need

Safeguarding checks

All Flipflash tutors need:

  • an enhanced DBS check, including the Children's Barred List, through an umbrella body (self-employed tutors can apply this way)

  • a subscription to the DBS Update Service, so your check stays current

Annual licence

Flipflash tutors pay an annual licence fee.
