When a child believes they can't learn, its time to show them that they can!
This week Jonathan met with 15 year old Aria-Mai and her mum at their home.
Aria-Mai is dyslexic and autistic, and finds traditional classroom and book based learning environments extremely challenging. She struggles to retain information and often feels misunderstood at school.
Most importantly, she has started to feel that perhaps she simply can't learn.
When we demonstrated Flipflash Learning, we deliberately chose something that was completely new to her. We thought we would do The Treaty of Versailles.
Using the Lewis Teaching Method, Jonathan broke the information down into manageable sections and began the learning process.
And the result? - We were genuinely blown away.
